60-Day Permit - A nonresident veterinarian validly licensed in another state or foreign country who pays the the fee established and published by the board may be issued a temporary permit for a period of no more than sixty days. No more than one permit may be issued during each calendar year.

Student Permit - The board may issue without examination, a temporary permit to practice veterinary medicine in this state to a senior veterinary student who practices in the office of, and under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian. A temporary student permit may not exceed six months from its date of issuance and is granted without payment of a fee.

License to Practice Veterinary Medicine - Applications must be received by the Board 30 days prior to the state examination.
